Arrival 

  • You'll be collected from the airport.

  • Accommodation before the tour starts can be arranged for an extra cost.

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Today, we'll travel from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, covering a distance of 139 km in 2-3 hours. Before heading to Tarangire, we'll make a quick stop at a supermarket in Arusha for any last-minute purchases. The journey takes us along The Great Northern Highway, passing through Masai steppe and various villages. Tarangire is known for its massive Baobab trees and a large population of elephants. During our game drive, expect to see wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, hippos, baboons, and various antelopes. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy the paradise of over 400 bird species, including rare ones like Ash Staling, Great Kudu, and fringed Eared Oryx. Predators like lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and leopards also inhabit the park. In the late afternoon, we'll head to Migombani public campsite at the base of the Great East African Rift Valley for sunset watching, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, it's a short drive to Lake Manyara National Park (only 0.5 km, about 10 minutes). We'll start our game drive after completing park formalities. Lake Manyara offers diverse habitats, including underground water forests, acacia woodlands, swamps, baobab-strewn cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, and a large lake area. The park supports a variety of animal species and remarkable birdlife, with the largest concentration of baboons in the world. Notable features include large flocks of flamingos and the famous tree-climbing lions of Lake Manyara. Other animals to be spotted include buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, warthog, and various antelopes. In the late afternoon, we'll return to Migombani Public Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Today, we'll embark on a journey from Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park, covering a distance of 132 km in 3-4 hours. The route takes us through the beautiful high farmland of Karatu and across the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After checking in at Ngorongoro gate, we'll stop at the Crater viewpoint for picturesque views before continuing to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Seronera, our destination within the park, is known for its rich animal habitats, especially along the Seronera River. After lunch, we'll start our afternoon game drive, searching for big cats and the wildebeest migration (depending on travel time). In the late afternoon, we'll head to Seronera Public Campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Our adventure continues with a full day game drive in Serengeti, starting as early as 06:30. With packed breakfast and lunch boxes, we'll explore the vast plains of Serengeti, with the possibility of spotting the cat family and other nocturnal predators. The park is famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, and we'll follow the herds, witnessing various animal actions such as eating, fighting, and hunting. Packed lunch will be served at a designated spot or somewhere in the bush. After a full day of exploration, we'll return to our campsite for dinner and overnight, either before or during sunset.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

We start early, perhaps at 06:30, with a packed breakfast box before heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The 145 km journey will take us 3-4 hours, including an en-route game drive. Upon arrival at Simba Campsite, located at the Crater rim, we'll enjoy sunset watching, camping orientation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha or Airport

As early as 06:30, after breakfast at the campsite, we'll descend over 600 m high walls into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The crater, a natural wonder formed around 3 million years ago, supports a diverse range of animal species, including buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, topi, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is known for its yearly round water supply and ample fodder. After an exciting morning of game viewing, we'll have an early hot lunch at the campsite before heading back to Arusha or the airport. The 220 km journey will take 3-4 hours, with non-game viewing time.
